Chicago Rookery Building Lobby
The Chicago Rookery Building was finished in 1888 by John Wellborn Root and Daniel Burnham. It is the oldest still-standing skyscraper in Chicago. Up top, it is rumored, is a beautiful glass encased area that served as the offices for the architects. This lobby was re-done by Frank Lloyd Wright in the early 1900's. The Rookery is now a national historic landmark. This is another stitch to expand the view upward slightly to show the ceiling as more prominent.
