Pewit’s Nest is a natural gorge formed by glacial movement. It is 30-40 feet deep with Skillet Creek running through it. There are cliffs, forest, canyons, small waterfalls, Cambrian sandstone formations, and other natural layers to Pewit’s Nest. It is located within Devil’s Lake State Park in Sauk County, 2 miles SW of Baraboo.
